Vukašin Živaljević, D.A. is an Assistant Professor of Photography in Media, TV Journalism, and New Media at the Department of Media Studies within the Faculty of Philosophy at UNS.
He holds a Doctorate in Arts (D.A.) in Drama and Audiovisual Arts from the Academy of Arts at the UNS. Additionally, he is the founder and director of the TAKT Film Festival and is actively involved with Kulturanova, among other initiatives.
As an awarded cinematographer, he has shot, directed, and edited a diverse array of films and animations, including numerous documentaries, commercials, music videos, event coverage, promotional videos, various television formats, commercial and editorial photography, as well as multimedia and activism projects. His most notable documentary is “Galaksija: The Computer that Refused to Die!“, , while his highly award-winning stop-motion animations “Lux Clara” and “Retuning” have garnered significant recognition in the industry.
